 For teachers of young children 3 - kindergarten age Did you know that writing, cutting or using a spoon are just some of the skills children acquire through the development of fine motor skills? The ability to use the smaller muscles of the body, most often the fingers, requires fine motor skill. In this workshop, information about typical fine motor development in preschool-aged children will be shared. Participants will engage in “hands-on” activities and receive a variety of ideas and resources that can be used throughout the school year.
