 For teachers of young children 2 - kindergarten age
Conflicts, such as tattling, that arise in classrooms offer a rich opportunity to teach children life skills, including conflict resolution and assertiveness. This Conscious Discipline® session will transform adult perception of conflict from seeing misbehavior to seeing a call for help and to re-frame their negative perceptions about peer-to-peer struggles and classroom disruptions. Participants will gain skills and resources to use classroom conflict as an opportunity to teach missing social-emotional skills such as how to use their “Big Voice” that can help children learn to appropriately resolve conflicts on their own.
