TPB2633 - The Power of Positive Language: Building a Supportive Preschool Classroom Environment

For teachers of young children 3-5 years of age

This in-person workshop explores how small, simple changes in the language adults use with preschool children can transform the classroom atmosphere. You'll discover easy-to-implement strategies like using positive descriptive feedback, employing "do" statements, and acknowledging children's actions that foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Participants will also create a practical 'make-n-take' resource during the session that can be immediately used in their classrooms to reinforce these communication techniques.
