TPB2620 - Mindful Beginnings: Cultivating Calm and Focus in Early Childhood

For teachers of young children ages birth through kindergarten age

This engaging and practical workshop introduces early childhood professionals to the foundational concepts of mindfulness as a developmentally appropriate strategy to foster emotional regulation, attention, and a peaceful learning environment. Participants will explore age-appropriate mindfulness techniques, such as breathing exercises, mindful storytelling, and sensory-based activities that can be easily incorporated into the daily classroom routine. The session also emphasizes the importance of teacher well-being and how modeling mindfulness supports both child development and a positive classroom climate.
