Project Enlightenment is offering both virtual and in-person workshop sessions. Please read each workshop session carefully to ensure you pick the right workshop for you. Virtual workshops will happen in real time and per WCPSS policy cannot be recorded for later viewing and may not be recorded by participants.

PVB2624 - Understanding Little Worries: Helping Your Young Child Navigate Fears & Anxieties

For caregivers with children 3 through kindergarten age

Does your child seem to be shy in new situations? Cautious when exploring the world? Anxious about everyday routines or unfamiliar faces? Or perhaps a little bit of all the above? Join us for "Understanding Little Worries," as we delve into the common fears and anxieties that often surface in preschoolers and kindergartners. We'll discuss everything from separation anxiety and fear of the dark to social shyness and adjusting to new experiences. More importantly, you'll be provided with concrete, actionable strategies for helping your child overcome these challenges while maintaining connection.

Pre-registration is required for all workshops. Registration is not complete until payment is received and processed. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis as class sizes are limited.
